Mrs. Hill was my teacher at Hallsville Elementary in the early 70's. I count her among my favorite teachers over the years and I'm sorry to hear of her passing.
##imported-begin##Mary Johnson Armstrong##imported-end##Dear Kim , Kay and families, I was so sorry to of Eloise's passing. I was so fortunate to have attended Longview First Assembly for 21 years and counted Eloise as one of my best friends. She was older than I and therefore was the chauffeur for MANY outings - whether going to church meetings around the area and especially Chalk Hill where our girls from church felt we had a special ministry to win the young people for The Lord especially the boys, going to C.A.meetings, gospel quartet singings, swinging bridge, A&W, Dairy Queen, Manck's Cafe for pie, Caddo Lake for catfish, slumber parties, and "tooling"around town and LeTourneau campus looking for boys. As you can see we had a "varied" and wide ministry. She was such a remarkable Christian example for me and I will always treasure her memory and our special times together. She came from such a lovely family - her mother, father and brothers hold such a revered place in my heart. She will be missed. Karen Gieser Gaglardi, Vancouver, B.C., Canada
##imported-begin##Karen Gieser Gaglardi##imported-end##Kim, Kay and families, As I was being told of your mother's passing I was thinking of her teaching us in school. What a wonderful person and teacher. Our prayers will continue to be with you all during this time and days to come.
##imported-begin##Toni Ivey Simmons##imported-end##Eloise will be so missed by all who knew her. She was such a sweet and fun loving person. My mother, Mary Alice McGowan, now has Alzheimer's but started to cry when she heard about the death of this wonderful niece who she loved so much. Eloise was my cousin. I remember when her girls were babies and she let my sister and I baby-sit them. What beautiful little girls they were. Eloise always made us laugh. She was just so much fun to be around. My deepest sympathy any prayers go out to her two beautiful daughters, her grandchildren and her brothers.
