Mr. Edwin L. "Red" Caldwell's Obituary
Graveside services for Edwin “Red” Caldwell, 91, of Longview will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 7, 2013 in the Lakeview Mausoleum with Brother Dick Lindsey officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Caldwell passed away Wednesday night in a local nursing home.
Red was born on October 7, 1922 in Creighton, LA to Luther and Ruth Caldwell. He proudly served his country during WWII in the US Navy and Marine Corps. He was a Baptist and a member of the VFW. He was also a 32 degree Mason and a member of the Elks and Eagles. Red worked for many years in Automobile sales in the Longview area and loved what he did.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses and staff of Summer Meadows and HeartsWay Hospice for all of the loving care and attention. The family request that memorial donations be made to HeartsWay Hospice, PO BOX 5608 Longview, Texas 75608.
