Lucy and I would like to express our sympathy to Mr. Bill and the family of Edith. We stop by and talk with Mr. Bill sometimes, especially lately and have visited with Edith a few weeks ago. She indicated to me she was a Christian and wanted me to know that she was ready to meet our Lord. She loved her church family and let me know so many of them were praying for her.

I have had the utmost pleasure of buying lots and lots of shoes and etc. from my friend Edie. She was a delightful and classy lady! She loved everyone. She will be missed by many friends.

There have been angels in my life. While they haven't arrived with a blast o trumpets, or a rustle of wings, I've known them just the same. They performed their acts in human guise. You have known them too. When just the right word was needed, when a tiny act of kindness made a great difference. Edie was an angel to me in life and is now and forever an angel in heaven. I know she has her wings I feel the flutter as she flies near to me. She will be surely missed by all who knew her.

When we heard that Ms. Edie had went to heaven, it was as if we lost a family member. She was always there to share her enthusiasm and always included our family with yours.
