Eddie Palmer
Services for Eddie Palmer, 37, of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 10, 2003 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with Reverend Gene Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park.
Mr. Palmer was born on June 6, 1966 in Longview to William Palmer, Sr. and Shirley Palmer Thompson. He passed away on Wednesday morning, October 8, 2003 at his residence.
He was a Quality Control Manager for D.C.G. Machine in White Oak, and a member of New Beginings Baptist Church.
A loving son, husband, and father, Mr. Palmer was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Ann Palmer; and one aunt, Nancy Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Tracie Palmer of Longview; children, Morgan and Dylan Palmer; parents, Shirley and Doug Thompson of McKinney, and William Palmer, Sr. of Gladewater; sisters, Megan Wasilewski of Bridgeport, WV, and Kassi Andrade of Avinger; brothers, Alan Thompson of Garland, William Howard Palmer, Jr. of Lufkin, Niki Starr of Gladewater, and Nathan Palmer of Tulsa, OK., parents-in-law, Russell and Frankie Pollick of Longview and Danny and Patty Ratcliff of Ore City; sister-in-law, Candy Lee and her husband Shane of Forney; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Eddie enjoyed spending time with his family as well as fishing and golfing.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday evening, October 9, 2003 at the funeral home.
