Earnest Jackson's Obituary
Graveside services for Earnest Jackson, 83, of Longview will be 10 AM Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Brother Tommy Brazier officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Jackson passed away Friday morning in a local nursing home.
Mr. Jackson was born on December 23, 1925 in Gilmer, Texas to Hugh and Lola Jackson. He owned and operated Earnest Jackson Electric Company, INC. for 32 years. He loved what he did and was always very loyal to his customers. He was also a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Pine Tree Masonic Lodge and loved serving in the community. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 sister, Pauline Brown; and 1 brother, Melvin Bud Jackson. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Sylvia Cole Jackson; 2 precious daughters and their husbands, Marlla and Albert Goettle, and Juanita and Rusty Tucker; grandsons, Jon Reneau, Brandon Murray and Will Dooley; great-grandson Jackson Reneau; and Great-granddaughter, Hayden Dooley.
