Graveside services for Earnest Jackson, 83, of Longview will be 10 AM Monday, July 6, 2009 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Brother Tommy Brazier officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Read Obituary
Mr Ernest knew me as Tony Parker, I worked for Julius Schepp distribution, who later became Republic Beverage Co. Mr Ernest leased his building from us. Many times if we had an issue him showed up himself to fix the problem. I enjoyed Mr Ernest sense of humor.I was transferred in 2002 to Houston and lost touch...I'm sorry for your loss of Mr Jackson, and hello to his beloved daughters, grandsons and wife.
Neane, in your email today you mentioned it being a year. I just couldn't believe a year has already passed. I remember that first year I lost daddy and it seemed to have past so quickly. I know Ernest is looking down on all of you, and he will with GOD take care of you all. You were very fortunate to have had the loving family you have had. Just think he is with Papa, Elaine, Roper, Daddy, and the rest of our family and his that have gone home. Praise GOD we have a heavenly home awaiting us, and we will live forever. This is why Jesus took those stripes for us, so we could have everlasting life. I know your pain, and I am sorry you have to feel this. To my Dear Precious Aunt Sylvia and my beautiful cousins and their children. I love you so much. There are no words I can say that will make this any easier, but when daddy died your Unlce Raymond I learned that thru it all you do remember your friends and family there for you. Well, I couldn't be there for you, but sometimes health prevents us from doing things we never dreamed. Who thought as a little girl I would not be attending my Uncle's funeral because of me having a stroke. Brandon your Papa loved you so much, and he will be with you wherever you go although you won't be able to see him. He is there! I love you darling. I love you all. I have lots of fond memories with my family in Longview. I hope they have lots of fish to fry for Ernest to FEED everyone. He believed in feeding mankind with loads of fishes of men. All of you will do fine. I thought for 7 mos. I would never be the same, but I found I would be find, but I miss daddy as if it were yesterday. Of course you all will pick up where you left off and have much to keep you busy and places to go. JUST REMEMBER, I love you all with all my heart and I was so glad to see you when you all walked into my hospital room the other day to see me. Please come again soon. to me so many good memories growing up comeing to his house. the home made ice cream , fish fries, going to the lake always something fun he will be missed dearly. i love all of you more than you know my prayers are with ya'll
