Papa Earl was a huge hero in my life. I am his oldest granddaughter the first born. Family stories tell him driving and picking me up when I was 6 weeks old and taking me back to Houston to be with Grandma and him. He was my biggest fan as a young girl and as a college student then as a young woman going out into the world. I miss him everyday. I never forget his birthday nor will I. He gave me hope and inspiration to do something wonderful with my life he got to meet my wonderful son before he passed away, his GREAT grandson. I will never forget the strength or faith he instilled in me at 8 years old. Miss you Papa. Kris
