Dear Sarge, Thanks for being there for me as a young LeTourneau prof in 1966. Too bad we could not have had more time together through the years but what we had was good. Thanks for not being judgmental and religious but just a brother. Thanks for fulfilling "he that winneth souls is wise". We have all eternity to rejoice with the Savior over the battles He won for us here, there, and over there. You used to say "I'll see you here, there, or in the air" but now it is "here, there, or in heaven with the Lord". Many can say thanks for your testimony and bold witness and fearless loyalty to the Lord Jesus Christ. You are happy, pain free, and full of joy unspeakable now. You fought a good fight and now have reached the other side. See you one day soon.

As a homesick freshmen from New York attending Letourneau College I found a great friend in Sarge Gray. He was always there to listen and advise. He quickly became one of my favorite people at Letourneau and has been a friend all these years. I want to say thank you to his family for sharing him with so many of us Letourneau students.
