Dr. Benjamin C. Guerra's Obituary
Mass for Dr. Benjamin C. Guerra, 57, of Longview, will be 4 PM Wednesday at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Gavin Vavarek officiating.
The rosary will be recited 7 PM Tuesday at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of Manila, Philippines, he was born April 30, 1945. He was a member of St Marys Catholic Church and was a neurosurgeon in Longview since 1981. He loved horses, playing polo, and flying radio-controlled model airplanes. Dr. Guerra was a caring husband, physician and friend. According to his children, he was the best dad in the world.
Survivors include his wife: Pet of Longview, Son: Phillip Guerra of Ft. Worth, Daughters: Maria Guerra of New York, NY, and Victoria Guerra of Austin, Brothers: Reynaldo Guerra of Allentown, PA and Danilo Guerra of Singapore, Sisters: Maritess Banaag of Los Angeles, CA. And Rosemarie Lee of China, Step Mother: Gloria Guerra of Manila, PI.
