My heart is heavy today for you and Joan. Your mother had such a warm, welcoming southern charm about her. I used to love to hear her accent. Some of my favorite high school memories revolve around being at your house solving all of the really important issues in life. Your mom always greeted me with a hug and let me know that I was loved.
