Dorothy Hinch's Obituary
Dorothy Jo Reed Hinch went to be with the Lord December 16, 2014. Dorothy was born June 25, 1926 to George Walter Reed and Katie Martin Reed. She lived in the East Texas area for the majority of her life. Preceded in death by husband Joseph Buddy Hinch. Also by brothers, Howard Reed, Helum Reed, Herman Reed and James Robert (Bill) Reed. And sisters, Bobbie Raney, Myrtle Dollarhide and “Little Onie” Pinkham.
She is survived by five children: Becky Wesberry and Husband Jim of Garland, Vicki Waltmon and husband Charles of DeKalb, Sam Kinney, Jr. and wife Kristy of Carthage, Rex Kinney and wife Connie of DeKalb and Todd Hinch and wife Pam of White Oak. Stepson Bill Hinch and wife Judy of Jacksonville and quarter son Kelly Kinney and wife Kim of DeKalb.
Dorothy was Mamaw Hinch to Clay, Melody, Valarie, Angela, Ashley, Michael Sam, Samantha, Harley, Alan, Lauren and Katie. Also was a grandmother to Janna and Emily Hinch and Klayton and Kaitlan Kinney. As well as 6 great grandchildren. And numerous nieces and nephews. She was blessed to have many beloved friends and trusted caregivers.
Services will be held Friday December 19 at Rader Funeral Home in Longview. The family will receive friends and loved ones at a preservice visitation in the Chapel at 12 noon, followed by a memorial service at 2pm. Interment will be in White Cemetery in Longview.
