I am very sad to hear of Mrs. Hinch's passing. I cared for her at Omaha and she was a pleasure to have as my resident. She will surely be missed!
Although Aunt Dorothy is only kin to me by marriage, I loved her dearly. I married her nephew, Buddy Reed, 43 years ago & have only gotten close to Buddy's dad's siblings the past few years. I regret that more than words can say. We have been coming up to visit with Aunt Dorothy these past few years & I have had so much fun hearing her tell of all of the stories of her childhood & family memories. I especially enjoyed playing 42 (dominoes) with her, Buddy & our youngest son James Robert a few months ago on one of our visits to see her. She said it had been about 20 years since she played 42, but she & Buddy beat the socks off me & James Robert. She was pretty spry to be 88 years old. She will always hold a special place in my heart & I am so thankful that I got to know her & love her. Aunt Dorothy, rest in peace & I look forward to seeing you again some sweet day! Norma Reed
