I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories of Mrs. Harvey. When my brother and I had birthdays next door with our family we always took Mrs. Harvey a piece of cake. And no matter how old I got I always looked forward to a box of valentine candy sealed in red cellophane with a gold Harvey's sticker. She even taught me what tax is: my grandmother would give me one dollar to buy malt balls or chocolate covered peanuts and Mrs. Harvey explained that even though I only wanted one dollar's-worth that it cost $1.08 because of tax and she always let me keep the dollar. I will miss her warm smile, strong hugs and cheerful nature but I know she is in God's arms now. I work with Mrs. Harvey's niece, Beth Fain, and I've heard so many good things about "Aunt Dorothy"! She has been in my prayers since her accident and having to move to the nursing home. I know she was loved and respected by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. May the Lord comfort you, her loved ones, at this time. As you gather to remember her, may you celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

I will always remember my mother and aunt Lois Forster and Carmel Hybarger taking me into the candy shop to visit their friend Dorothy. Mrs. Harvey would always smile and let me pick out any piece of candy that I wanted. It was the highlight of going downtown. Now, all three have gone onto a much better place and are enjoying the best of the best. My prayers go to each of you.
