It's been 6 monthes I still can't believe your gone! I miss your bubbly personality and your smile. I miss spending my days with you and mr. Flanagan y'all are and we're always such a joy to be around. You were never a "job" to be I loved every minutes of it! I loved coming to work and helping you, you were my best friend after 3 and 1/2 years caring for you. It broke my heart to watch you go and to have to let go but I know you sitting up in heaven with your sisters, brother and your momma and daddy have a grand ol time. Everyday I think of you and miss you still. I will forever be changed by the love and kindness and hospitality you and your family have shown me. 💗

Dear Jim,
Dorothy & I were classmates back in Pine Tree before she became a Longview Lobo. We remained good friends for many years. I remember a slumber party at her house when she lived on Highway 80, I think in 1954 and the reason I remember is because that is where I met my husband, Greene Chandler, Jr., when about 3 of you dropped in for a few minutes. I knew Dorothy loved you then. I married Greene in 1958 but unfortunately we were divorced in 1976.
I will never forget Dorothy's outgoing personality and beautiful smile. I still treasure our friendship and pictures I have of us back at P.T. just fooling around and being silly. We had great fun being in the band and taking trips to football games and marching at contests and in the Christmas parades and many others..
I am sorry I will not be able to attend the memorial service but just know I will be praying for you and your boys during that time and in the coming days as you continue on without her by your side.
