Doris Irwin Flanagan's Obituary
Funeral services for Doris Irwin Flanagan, 78, of Henderson will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at the Rader Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Fulton officiating. Burial will be in New Prospect Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mrs. Flanagan died Thursday, September 11, 2008, in a Longview hospital.
She was born January 17, 1930 in Rusk County to Basil and Annie Herrin Irwin. She was a lifelong resident of Rusk County, a homemaker, and a Baptist.
Mrs. Flanagan was preceded in death by her husband, Ned Flanagan.
Surviving are daughters; Debra Fleet and special friend Tina Richardson, Sheri Minter and husband Melvin, all of Henderson; sister, Janet Lancaster of Van; four grandchildren, Michael and Brandi Westring of Hallsville, Paula and David Fredenburg of Henderson, Pamela and Ronald DelVecchio of Crookston, Minnesota, and Ricky and Jacqueta Minter of Henderson; eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; special friend, Cornelia Clamp of Henderson.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Fredenburg, Jason Brown, Loring Minter, Jr., Jeff Johnson, Clay Lancaster, and Adam Rountree.
