Linda, precious friend, your dad was always so nice to me. Seems like I was at your house every weekend spending the night and eating your mom's wonderful pancakes. Your father's life was amazing, the strength he displayed, the love for you. He continued to be motivated to be the most he could be even when his age and physical problems would have forced most people to their beds. Holding onto the grocery cart and pushing it around the grocery store was such a major effort, but nothing stopped him. He kept trying to the end! What a brave example for us to aspire to.
I know you all will miss your dad, but he is in a much better place, as we have discussed, completely healed, and with Jesus and your mom.
I regret that I won't be with you today physically, but I will be in spirit. Praying for you and your family. Remembering a strong life well-lived.
Much love,
