My wife and I met Buzz and family when we were trying to get a church started in Houston back in 1990. They came by to visit the church at a particularly low point during this process and provided their fellowship which was very helpful and calming to us. Brother Buzbee used his pickup to help us repair the roof on the church which we desperately needed at the time. My wife and I and our children enjoyed visiting with him,
Debee and the boys. We moved to California but on a couple of occasions when we were travelling through Houston, we stopped in and they invited us to stay overnight. On one of these occasions Buzz helped me get my van fixed. He also told a friend of his that I was a preacher so I was invited to preach at a church nearby. He and Debee always made us feel welcome and I enjoyed the fellowship we had together. It is our prayer that Jesus will help you, Debee, Micah, and Adam. through this time. I Thess 4:13-18. until we meet again Buzz.

To me brother Buzbee was a real man. A man of integrity honesty and steadfastness. I never heard a single bad word come out of his mouth, never heard him talk down about anyone, never knew of anything I or anyone could fault hin on. He was a true Christian, a man of God. There are few men in this world that I had as much respect for as brother Buzbee. I know he wasn't perfect but I'm sure you'd have to dig long and hard to find a real fault in this saint. We will miss him. He was like a John Wayne to me. Stood firm on what he believed and never flip flopped on his convictions.

I will miss Bro. Buzbee, he loved the Lord God, His son, & was taught by the holy Spirit. Bro. Buzbee was a treasured friend. I remember the times when Bro. B & wife Debee would come & pick me up, just to get me out of the house. We would all spend time together, laughing at the little things in life & enjoying each others company. Sometimes I would go over to their house & spend time in fellowship, drinking tea, or being in the yard. That's what it is all about spending time with friends, & letting them know how much you care, how much Jesus cares.
Praying for wife Debee, sons Micah & Adam & family also the friends that are hurting . One thing for certain Bro. Buzbee is in NO more PAIN , his MIND is PERFECT, & NO more TEARS. One day we will all see JESUS face to face. That will be a Glorious Day! Love ya, Judy

I don't know if it was the childlike innocence holding on or what but I never have fathomed that Bro Buzbee would not be on this earth with us any longer. He just always seemed to be strong and sturdy. Growing up watching him and other strong men of God in our church and others, showed me what a true Believer and a true man of God should be. Always willing to go. Always trusting in the Lord. Preaching the truth all the time no matter who's feathers get ruffled. Glad we know without a doubt that he's gone to his reward and he gets to hear "Well done". Praying that God helps the pain of his loss lessen as the days go by.

The shock of Bro. Buzbee’s passing over to the other side has not yet worn off. It still seems unreal. He seemed to have so much life and strength. I cannot express in words the blessing Bro. Buzbee was to my family and our Church. He helped us so many times I cannot recount them. Cars (my old Junkers), Busses (the church old Junkers), Air Conditioners, buildings, street ministry, nursing homes, fellowship meetings, prayer meetings, Church and state battle after battle, we could go on. I never doubted his faithfulness and readiness to serve the Lord and the Lord’s people. He was always there! He was always upfront with what he believed and never seemed to compromise. If he stood alone, then, he just stood anyway. He was reasonable when you were right and unreasonable when you were wrong. He could sting like a Bee, he knew how, but Buzz lived consistently producing honey from the Canaan land. He loved sinners like Jesus. He loved saints like Jesus. He loved his family like Jesus and he loved his Church like Jesus. I can’t think of a better way to say it. He will be missed! I can almost see his smile and the wave of his hand of welcome when it comes our time to cross over. I feel better about it, knowing that we have another soldier and friend waiting with our Lord.

Oh Mr.Buzz how you will be missed by MANY! Although we KNOW without a DOUBT you are walking those golden streets in NO pain and SO happy, its always hard to say goodbye to a loved one. I have so many great memories with you. You were a wonderful, God fearing man. You taught your boys how to be wonderful men too. You loved Mrs. Buzz with all your heart and showed us all how a husband and father should conduct himself. I remember going to the park and singing with boys while they played their guitar and violin while feeding the hungry downtown. I remember all the little moments we all shared together. You used to tell us that college just teaches you more and more about less and less haha. I still remember that! You will forever be in our hearts as you've touched MANY with your strong love of God, family, and friends. Goodbye Mr.Buzz. You have made a great impact on my life as I'm sure you've done with so many others. I love you.

I always remember Bro. Buzz when I would see him with Micah and Adam walking the track at North Shore High school. Always a wave and a hi! Love Debi she has been a wonderful friend. Love you boys too. I pray in the days to come you will feel the presence and comfort of our Lord.

What a blessing Bro. Buzbee was to our church and our family. I remember when I first married Nicky that he sent me a sympathy card. I laughed so hard! (Nicky didn't laugh near as hard!) Anyway, he will be greatly missed by all of us in the Sikes family! What a faithful, Godly man. Love you, Buzbee family!

I have so much to say but I'm having trouble putting into words what I'm feeling my Dad raised me to be who I am today his home going has been hard on me but I know he is walking the streets of glory he's having a time of his life with him uncle Horace and the young one of ours that is there with him I can see the Buzbee waiting to greet us and tell us how great things are there

I am thankful to have known Bro. Buzbee. He raised two fine sons, one whom is my son-in-law. Bro. Buzbee preached God's Word faithfully every chance he could. He is another soul I look forward to seeing in Heaven. Praise The Lord for salvation!
