Funeral services for Dolores A. Rutland, 69, of Longview, will be held at Noon Friday, May 14, 2004 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with the Reverend G.A. Stanfield officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park?s Garden of Roses. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, May 13, 2004 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rutland was born on January 22, 1935 in Bellvue to James and Nancy Ryan. She passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 in Longview. She and Mr. Rutland owned and operated Kirby Vacuum Distributing Company in Longview and Texarkana before retirement and were members of the Mt. Zion Church.
A loving mother, and grandmother, and sister, Mrs. Rutland was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, James G. Rutland. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Jim Berry of Longview; sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Dana Rutland of Winona, Doug and Mindy Rutland of Atlanta, Jimmy L. and Darla Rutland of Liberty City; nine grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and brothers, Frank, Jim, and Mike Ryan.
