I had the Pleasure and TRUE joy to know Dolly in the last year. She had a DELIGHTFUL SMILE that thrilled my heart, when seeing me and telling me how she was doing. We became close to one another and She was A Treasure. I loved spending time with her and helping her out. with The BONUS of knowing the Family! I cherish. You are loved & missed. TO: THE JOHNSON FAMILY SO VERY SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM. SHE WAS ALWAYS VERY KIND TO ME AS A CHILD, WHEN I VISITED THERE TO SEE DORIS, MY CLASSMATE AND HER OLDER DAUGHTER.

Dolly defined class and style to those who knew her. She touched the lives of so many families in Longview. We were one of those families. When our family moved to Longview and my Dad Dr Harold Wood opened his surgical practice Dolly was there to assist us with becoming a part of the community. The Johnson family were all joyful givers and we are forever grateful for their kindness.

Sweet Dolly, my second mom. I owe my youth to you for teaching me the manners expected of a young child. I will always value your unconditional love, your warmest of hugs, and the friendships your family showered on me while we shared an RC Cola and a Fudgsicle on your front porch each day after school. I among others would be far less a Godly soul had you not held us close. I will never forget my time shared with Dolly and Walter. God is honored to call you home. One of a kind.
Dolly spread joy wherever she was. She worked for my sister Norma Farrington Hunt and the whole family got to enjoy her famous dinner rolls and I still cherish the recipe.
