Dearest Joy, we are so saddened by the loss of Jim. We have such happy memories of him. There was never a dull moment when he was around and we could always count on him for a laugh;what a rare quality! He was loved by all who knew him and will be sorely missed. Rick treasures the military things Jim gave him for Royal Rangers because they bring back so many fond memories of him. You and Jim were, and still are, like family to us. Joy, I can't express how much you mean to me. You have been a true and loving friend, someone I knew was always there. You certainly live up to your name....you are such a joy. Rick and I consider ourselves greatly blessed to have called you and Jim friends. Our prayers are with you, sweet friend. I know the days and months ahead will be so difficult, but God is faithful, "a friend that sticks closer than a brother". If you ever need a friend to talk to I'm always here. We love you so much. Dear Joy, Doug, Sandy,and Family,
May the peace of the Lord God be with you as you mourn your loss on earth and rejoice in the knowledge that God has chosen to bring Jim home to heaven.
Jim was always bringing laughter to those he came in contact with. His fun loving ways,jokes,pranks,laughter, and his generousity and kindness will be missed.

I am sorry for your loss. I know you have good memories to carry you through, and a God that is faithful, who will never leave you, nor forsake you. Jesus is the God of all comfort! I also have good memories of Jim, I look back and thank him for always carrying Justin's carrier into church for me. I loved his smile, and the time we got to spend together picking and playing. Joy, Jim and I are so saddened at the loss of Jim, but our loss is heaven's gain. I remember one time I told Jim that even though I was more reserved than others, I was "jumping inside" in the presence of God. He said, "me too, Beckie". I never forgot that, because he was a more reserved person as well. I am so happy to know that he is worshipping our Lord as he always wanted to and we will all join him in glorious praise before the Throne. Jim and I will never forget you and Jim for your friendship, prayers, and total support when we needed it most. You have been the most awesome friends and church members a Pastor could ever hope to have. Jim was the kind of person you could always count on and my Jim often speaks of him in sermons and illustrations of great character and reliability. We will miss him greatly. We love you, Joy. Joy,
I cant tell you how much you and Jim have meant to us through the years! You were some of our best friends when we first married and I will never forget the fun we had, mostly eating out at restaurants!
I will always remember Jim with that big video camera on his shoulder documenting life and I am grateful to have some of his work. He recorded our wedding shower at Evangel Temple, we watched it recently and it brought back so many happy memories!
Know that you are beloved, just as he was and our prayers are with you.
