I am a retired mail carrier with the Longview Post Office. I worked with Mr. Rainey several years. For many years, I was the mail carrier at his home at 1901 Jane while working on city route 10. He was always a cheerful, good friend who would brighten anyone's day. I also remember his produce stand on Mobberly Avenue - especially his delicious tomatoes. Will pray the Lord will bless & comfort each member of his family at this time.

D.H. Rainey was one of the kindest, sweetest men I've ever known. It's been an honor and a pleasure to call him Uncle. I'm sure Aunt Meltry has organized an awesome "Welcome Home" party for him!
