David K. Rusch
Celebration of Life Services for David K. Rusch of Longview will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2914 at Grace Creek Church, 1500 W. Hawkins Pkwy., Longview, TX 75605. He went home to be with his Lord September 13, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Mr. Rusch was born February 17, 1945 in Sheboygan, WI to Arthur and Cornelia Rusch and had been a resident of Longview since 1989. He was a 1963 graduate of South High School in Sheboygan. He traveled the world extensively in work related to heavy surface mining equipment. Mr. Rusch was formerly employed by Bucyrus Erie Co. in South Mil, WI, Marathon LeTourneau Co. in Longview and Minserco in Kilgore. He enjoyed riding his Harley and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Judith Beck.
Those left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife of 44 years, Janice Willmas Rusch of Longview; his loving children, Jeanna Rusch and fiancé Roger Fleet and Melanie Beall all of Longview; his grandchildren, Curtis McKelvey of Longview, Kimberly McKelvey Chase and husband Jerry of Los Alamos, NM, and Jesse McKelvey of Timpson, TX; his brothers, Richard Rusch and wife Barb of Greenville, SC, Ronald Rusch and wife Lynn of West Bend, WI, and Dale Rusch and wife Debbie of Sheboygan, WI.
