David Roy Harrison's Obituary
David Roy Harrison of Hallsville, Texas went to be with his Savior Jesus Christ on May 9, 2024. David was born in Sweetwater, Texas on November 8, 1950, to Roy and Laverne Harrison.
He is survived by his soulmate Rebecca McWaters Harrison of 29 years. David was a wonderful, devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Olivia Fruge and husband Caleb, son Joseph Harrison, sisters Rebecca Kroll, Faye Harrison, brothers Kelly Harrison and wife Libby, Steve Harrison, brother-in-law Alton McWaters and wife Terry, and all his lifelong friends he made at First Baptist Church Hallsville and during his time working at Pliler International Longview.
Visitation will begin at 11 am and the memorial service will be held at noon to 1pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at First Baptist Church Hallsville.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Property Grounds Committee at First Baptist Church Hallsville in David’s Loving Memory.
