For many years, we shopped for gifts for the Angel tree together. David carried big items like bicycles in his truck and I had smaller things in my car. One night we were meeting at the church to drop off the gifts and I got pulled over for speeding (going 37 in a 30). I was pulled over right in front of the CMC and David so kindly took a photo of the police car flashing lights behind me and texted it to Tommy immediately. Gee thanks friend! Well payback came late one night when David had to go to the high school to pick up one of his kids after return from an out of town football game. David had on his pjs and was pulled over on Cal young, the same road I was speeding on! David was a good friend who did so much for others and our church. See you in heaven, buddy!
