David has always been a
special person, even way back in the 80's. I attended high school and FBC youth group with him...it was during Hal Schmidt's time, if you can remember back that far. David was such a wonderful guy then, and it seems he lead a great life of service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!

As a former classmate of David's...I always remember David smiling, friendly and helpful in any situation. No matter what he never failed to speak to you. He was an inspiration to many. The class of '82 will miss him.

I'm sorry I didn't come to the funeral. I was on the road taking my son, his wife, and baby to the DFW airport.
