Darren Cox's Obituary
Private cryptside services for Darren Cox , 41, of Spring, Texas will be 2 PM Saturday, May 20th at Rosewood Mausoleum with Rev. Herman McElyea officiating. Entombment will follow. Mr. Cox died suddenly on Tuesday, May 16th in The Woodlands, Texas.
He was born March 17, 1965 in Fort Worth to Dale and Stella Long Cox. Darren was a 1984 graduate of Pine Tree High School and he attended Kilgore College. He had been a resident of the Houston area for 20 years and was the owner of Hunter Auto Glass in Spring. Darren was a member of the Woodland Christian Church.
Darren is survived by a son, Hunter Inglis Cox of Rockport; his parents, Dale and Stella Cox of Longview; aunts and uncles: Louis and Vonda Bothe of Allen, Margarette McElyea of The Woodlands, Claud and Mildred Long of Hobbs, New Mexico, Katy Henderson of Piedmont, Oklahoma, and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Cox and Mr. and Mrs. L.E. Long.
A public visitation will be held Friday evening at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., 6 to 8 PM.
