Dear Norma and family,
I just learned of Darrell's transition today. Know that Sandy and I count Darrell and you as two of our greatest blessings during our years in Enid. Your constant support and prayer during those challenging days were a great comfort to us.
God's word promises that the same comfort we have given to others will be given to us, so I am confident that "my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
With much affection,
Jim and Sandy Wideman##imported-begin##Jim & Sandy Wideman##imported-end##
Dear Norma,
we were so sorry to hear Darrel had passed away. You both have always been so special to us & our family. We felt so blessed when Darrel baptized our grandson,John. We had no minister at that time & a leader in the youth dept. baptized all the youth who went forward at camp that summer. John was the only one not in that group & Darrel chose to baptize him. i just always have felt that was a special blessing for our family & John. God Bless you Norma

Dear Norma Lea & Family,
We were sorry to hear of the passing of Darrell but know that he is in God's Kingdom and at total peace and rest. Words are never adequate at a time like this, but know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
We have many fond memories of Darrell and you as we served together many years in Japan as missionary colleagues. We enjoyed and appreciated the Christian music that Darrell led at Tokyo Baptist Church and felt he led the congregation in a worshipful experience. He will be missed. We'll be praying for you, Norma Lea, and your family as you face the days ahead.
With love & prayers,

Uncle Darrell, our Hearts and Prayers are with you as you walk with the Lord.
Aunt Norma Lea, Randy and Kendall, forever the music in Heaven will be gloriously rich, steady and pure from the hands of Uncle Darrell. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so blessed and enriched for having his gentle guidance throughout our lives. His inspiration and influence laid many of the foundation bricks for the direction that my life’s path has taken. We celebrate how he enriched us all. God Bless

Dear Mrs. Norma Lea Mock
Praise the Lord for memory of Mr.Darrell Alexander Mock.
The pastors and congregations of the Japan Baptist Convention wish to express their deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Darrell A. Mock, Former Missionary to Japan, upon the news of his going home to be with Lord.
The work of Mr.Darrell Mock had a splendid impact here in Japan, especially in Tokyo Baptist Church. We also rejoice in the work continued through his family of God. Through them, the Gospel of the Lord, and much encouragement and comfort are conveyed, even to this day.
We give heartfelt thanks to God because you continued your prayers on behalf of Japan, for the sake of His gospel mission here, even after you had departed from this country.
May God give you His special peace and comfort at this time.
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Makoto Kato
Executive Secretary
