Mr Hill...I can't call him Dan, as he was always 'Mr Hill' to me, out of respect and admiration...had a deep and profound positive influence on my life.
He was my Scoutmaster at a time when I needed a guide from boyhood into manhood...Mr Hill was that guide. He was a powerful role model for me, the template of everything that an adult male--a man--should be. As I go through life, I still find myself trying to live up to Mr Hill's standards and to fulfuil his expectations.
The world is certainly a poorer place without him, but I'm looking forward to sitting around a campfire swapping tales with him in Heaven. Because in Mr Hill's Heaven there will certainly be plenty of campfires and tall tales.##imported-begin##Paul Guinn##imported-end##
