Dan was a student at Kilgore College in our Oil & Gas program. He was a very generous and successful businessman. As director of technology programs I observed his progress there, and I observed his progress from my business contacts with him. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

I first met Dan in Tyler Texas at the AMOCO office where I was sent to work as a Petroleum Engineer. Dan helped me get settled in and go right to work. One weekend the guys at the office planned a flag football game. As it turned out, Dan turned out to be a "strong" blocker! Wow, he really left an impression on me! 😆. Later on, Dan cosulted for me. He was a real friend and I truly miss him. I am praying for Dan's family and friends during this trying time.
Dan hired me away from Halliburton to work as a consultant for him. It helped me further my career in the oilfield. I owe him a lot. RIP my friend.
