Private family memorial services for Dale Ray Stringer, 63, of Longview, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away, Thursday, October 22, 2009, at his residence in Longview.
Mr. Stringer was born May 24, 1946 in Waco to Marvin and Marjorie Stringer and had been a resident of Longview for the past 6 years. He was a 1964 graduate of Longview High School and Baylor University with a Masters degree. He was a National Bank Examiner Field Office Director for the OCC and was a member of the Antioch Community Church in Waco.
Dale was a loving husband, father and "PawPaw".
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 36 years, Bonnie Sue Stringer of Longview; daughters, Bonnie Sue Laughlin and husband James of Stanton, TX, Dr. Dustyn Rae Alexander and husband Joseph of Waco and Amy Leigh Collins of Longview; sons, Thomas Robert Nedderman of Chicago and David Carle Bates and wife Michelle of Pittsburg, PA, 10 grandchildren, Elissa, Alaina, Stephon, Anna, Brittany, Bethany, Abigail, Jordan, Emma and Jacob.
