Funeral Services for D.J. Burks, 89, of Henderson, will be held at 10:00am Thursday, May 9, at Calvary Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Kuykendall officiating. A private family interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery led by Bro. Read Obituary
DJ was a kind man and devoted to the Lord Jesus Christ. We
will miss him.
I am truly sorry for the loss. Growing up in Henderson many trips were made during the teenage years to Burks tire. D.J. and family made you feel like a welcomed friend....

D.J. was a very kind and caring man and was someone I looked up to growing up. I can't imagine Calvary Church without D.J. Wish I had known sooner that he had passed so I could have been there for the funeral but I will trust that God will surround each of you and hug you as only He can. My love to everyone.
