Mrs. D. A. "Kathryn" Benton's Obituary
Funeral services for Kathryn Benton, 95, of Plano, formerly of Longview will be 4 PM Saturday at the Ford Chapel of First Baptist Church with her son-in-law, Jason Williams officiating. Family visitation will begin at 3 PM before the service. Burial will follow at Memory Park under direction of Rader Funeral Home.
Mrs. Benton went home with Jesus on March 20, 2014 in Plano, Texas. She was born August 19, 1918 in Longview. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of First Baptist Church. A devoted wife and mother, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, D. A. Benton in 2010.
She is survived by her son, Delbert Benton and her daughter, Vickie Leonard; her grandchildren, Tammy Williams, Kyle Leonard and Tiffany Saucedo; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Kathryn Williams, Joshua Williams, Sarah Elizabeth Williams, Abigail Williams, Caleb Williams, Daniel Williams, Anna Jane Leonard, Judah Benton Leonard, Carys Leonard
