I grew up just down the road from Mrs. Tincy. I have very fond memories of her when I was a child. Our neighborhood was very close knit and everyone looked out for each other. I can't count the numerous times that my brother and I borrowed her pea sheller to completed our chore of shelling peas before Mom and Dad got home. She was loved and will be missed by many.
I love that later in life, my kids were able to get to know her as well.

Mrs. Steele was such a kind and caring lady. Some of my fondest memories growing up have her in them. She never had a mean word for anyone and always wore a smile. She will be dearly missed but always remembered with a smile. Prayers and hugs for the family.

"Miss Tincey" as she was known to the Summers Family was a friend and neighbor. She and her family always had huge gardens and grew the most wonderful fruits and vegetable which she shared with the community. As my mother Martha Summers grew elderly Miss Tincey was there to take her to the doctor or the grocery store. Such a good neighbor. She will be missed. Our love to her family.
