I guess I've known this family almost all of my life.
Without writing a book;I am so fond of all of you. I remember as a little girl visiting Anna-Banana
and being so intrigued with Mr.Surratt's steel guitar. He was a good man who loved his family.
I know he will be missed. My heart goes out to you all.Im sorry I cant be there with you.

My sincere condolences go to the family of Mr. Surratt. I have many fond memories of my years at Lone Star Steel and people like him are what I remember most. He was a fine gentleman, a dedicated worker and a pleasure to work with. I remember numerous times that he was able to find the electrical problem that we were having with a part of our Mill and he was able to get it repaired and back in operation.
