Chuck Hensley's Obituary
Chuck Hensley, a devoted husband, father, brother, son and Cowboys fan passed away Friday October 27, 2023. Chuck was born in Abilene, Tx on December 10, 1968, to Gerrie and Betty Hensley. He graduated from Henderson High School in 1986 and attended Jacksonville College. He continued his education at the University of Texas at Tyler and later graduated from Texas A&M University - Commerce.
Chuck's passions were music, sports memorabilia and collecting autographs. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His work as a Youth Pastor and Music Minister allowed him to have such a positive impact on those he ministered to. His passions allowed him to form special connections with his youth congregation. Anyone who knew Chuck could see how passionate he was and how proud he was to be a "Dad". He loved telling stories about his life experiences.
He was preceded in death by his father Gerrie Hensley, brother Eston Hensley and son Joshua Chase Hensley. Those left to cherish their memories of Chuck include his loving wife Lisa Crawford Hensley, his mother Betty Hensley, son David Baker, daughter Christa Maxwell, stepson Patrick Ross, Living Donor Tiffany Elms as well as his extended family and numerous friends.
Memorial services for Chuck will be held on Wednesday, November 1 at 3pm in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Chuck was born in Abilene, TX on December 10, 1968 and passed away on October 27, 2023.
