Christopher Lee Westmoreland
Funeral services for Christopher Lee Westmoreland, 29, of Longview will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial with military honors will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. He passed away Wednesday from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Chris was born September 18, 1978 in Hollandale, MS and had been a resident of Longview since 1981. He attended school in Spring Hill. He was employed with General Dynamics Vertex in Kilgore as a radar specialist.
Chris served 10 years in the U. S. Marine Corp as a Corporal with 1 tour in Afghanistan and 2 tours in Iraq.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Jessica Westmoreland; sons, Christopher Gage Westmoreland and Michael Donovan Westmoreland; daughter, Devyn Aaliyah Westmoreland; step-son, Gunner Gavin Guida and step-daughter, Lauren Michelle Poss; mother and step-father, Donna and Albert Pickett; father and step-mother, James and Kim Westmoreland; brother, James Tyler Westmoreland; paternal grandmother, Pearlie Westmoreland; maternal grandmother, Margaret Anne Morehead; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
