Services for Chris Wayne Harris, 42, of Spring Hill will be held at 2 PM Satur-day, January 22, 2005 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview, 1617 Judson Road, with the Reverend Kenneth Mills officiating. Burial will follow in Elmira Chapel Cemetery.
Chris was born on September 25, 1962 at Markham hospital in Longview to Ted and Gloria Harris. He passed away early Wednesday morning, January 19, 2005 in a Longview hospital.
Chris was a graduate of Spring Hill High School, operated Harris Mobile Home Repair on Marshall Avenue and attended New Beginning?s Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing his guitar, and loved playing with his granddaughter, to whom he was known as ?Poppy?. He also en-joyed playing video games with his son and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
A loving husband, father, son, and brother, Chris is survived by his wife, Alisa Harris; daughter, Gillian Harris; son, Kyle Harris; granddaughter, Tierney Skogen; his parents; sister, Stacie Estrella and her husband Michael; brother Kevin Harris and his wife Wendy; and his grandmother, Elsie Nichols, all of Long-view. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law, Sherri Herring and her husband Danny of Longview, Kelly Reed and her husband Michael of Elkhart; grand-mother-in-law, Bea Lowry of Oklahoma; and numerous nieces and nephews.
