Wendell always had a big hug and smile for us. He was a most loving and kind cousin and will be deeply missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family. The Brevards and their descendents will miss him.##imported-begin##Judy Morphis##imported-end##
I grew up with Wendell leading singing at Calvary Baptist in Beckville; his sister married my first cousin, Barnette Cordray. He was 4 years older than I, but I knew him well at that time. Haven't been around him much since then, but when I was county judge here, I understood he was running for JP in Marion County. I always liked and respected Wendell and will miss him. My condolences to all his family; my prayers will be with you during this difficult time. John W. Cordray##imported-begin##John and Pat Cordray##imported-end##
His prescence at all of our Lodge functions will be sorely missed. I know he has been sick and in pain for sometime now and is in a much better place. Everyone in the Lodge thinks so highly of Him. May the peace of God be with you in this time of sorrow. May you remember what a blessing He was and all of the good times he shared with Family and Friends.##imported-begin##Mark Alford##imported-end##

We really enjoyed watching Wendell ride his little car in the Yamboree parade. He brought smiles to a lot of people that way. We will miss him.##imported-begin##Brent Brevard##imported-end##
WE WERE FRIENDS OF WENDELL'S FROM CHURCH AND SPORTS. HE WAS ONE OF THE NICEST MEN I HAVE KNOW. HE WOULD COME SEE OUR BOYS PLAY FOOTBALL AND SOMETIMES EVEN SET WITH US. HE WOULD DRIVE TO ORE CITY TO SEE MY LITTLE ONE PLAY BASEBALL. HE WOULD ALWAYS ASK ME AT CHURCH, WHEN IS THAT BOY PLAYING BALL. WE WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH AT CHURCH AND ON THE FIELD. WE LOVE HIM VERY MUCH. I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.

Bobbie & Family-
Wendell was so much more than just a friend to me and so many others. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help those that he loved. I will miss him deeply but know that he is much better off. All of you are in my prayers.
