Charles Timothy McCabe's Obituary
Funeral services for Charles Timothy McCabe, 51, of Longview, will be 2 PM Saturday, November 13, 2004 in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., with Dr. Greg Zackary and Jack Lanier officiating. Interment will follow Monday, November 15, 2004 at 10:30 AM in IOOF Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma with Dr. J. D. Ward officiating under the local direction of Trout Funeral Home where visitation will be held Sunday, November 14, 2004. Charles was born December 7, 1952 in Ponca City, Oklahoma to Willis and Dorothy McCabe. He passed away Wednesday morning at a local medical center. Charles had been a resident of Longview since 1981. Charlie saw active duty in Kuwait and Uzbekistan. He served in the U. S. Air Force and U. S. Air Force Reserve. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Longview, Friday evening from 6-8 PM. Charles is survived by his mother, Dorothy Jean McCabe of Ponca City, OK; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth H. and Janice McCabe of Dodge City, KS; nephews and spouses, Jesse and Michelle McCabe of Dodge City, KS, Jason and Jennifer McCabe of Dodge City, KS; great nephew, Jacob McCabe; cousin, JoAnn Sterr of Camarillo, CA; and aunt, Louise McCabe of Tulsa, OK. The family asks that memorial donations be made to Mobberly Baptist Church, 625 E. Loop 281, Longview, Texas , 75605 or First United Methodist Church, 200 South 6th, Ponca City, Oklahoma 74601.
