Okay so where do I start, it started when I was about 4 or 5 years old and all of you Pentecost came into my life. I was the city girl who went to spend the night in country. I think it was possum stew brewing in a cast iron pot over an open fire and Charlie was like "eat it girl cause if you don't you will go hungry". Oh my I was scared to death of him however as the many years went by with many nights and days spent at the Pentecost house I learned he was the most gentle, kind, loving hearted man I'd ever met. Cindy, Gay, Chuck, Mark and precious Joyce I love you guys with all my heart. You guys were such a part of life and have such special places in my heart. Today it is with a sad heart that we say good bye to Charlie but oh what a glorious day in Heaven it is with him joining so many loved ones of mine that knew him. God bless you all and know that my family is thinking of you. I cannot make it tomorrow but my thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Love you all and may God wrap his loving arms around each and everyone of you!!!! Sherry Blalock Smith
