Pat,Cindy and Alice,

I recieved a copy of Charles' obituary today from my mother. I was so sad to hear of your loss. I have very fond recollections of your father and it is very easy for me to hear his voice - both speaking and singing, in my mind. I am glad to have spent many Sunday dinners with him and your family in my youth. He was an exceptionally good human being. I am glad you all have each other to lean on and many memories of a man who was very easy to love.

Dear Alice and family,
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. I have great memories of him when we would play together as kids. He would always take time to work with us on your A-frame playhouse in the woods. He always had a smile near by. Glad to hear you are blessed as a parent. Write when you can.

Mrs. Pat, Alice and Cindy-

I just heard today about Mr. Carothers - actually about 5 minutes ago and I hate I wasn't able to come to the funeral. I was so sad but I know he is totally and completely healed now and having a great reunion with Mr. Landis and Mr. Montgomery. I'll never forget "Grandad" and how sweet he was to my son, Colton many years ago when Mrs. Pat was his very first babysitter. He was always smiling and never minded Colton calling him Grandad, instead of Mr. Carothers.
