Carol Lee's Obituary
Carol Valentine Lee passed away in Longview on March 27, 2025. Carol was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 15,1953 to L.V. "Buster" and Ellen Valentine. She spent her childhood in Corpus Christi and graduated from Mary Carroll High School, class of 1971.
Soon after graduating, Carol moved to Longview where she spent the majority of her adult life, including many cherished years at Lake Cherokee with her long-term partner Glenn Davis. The later years of Carol’s life were spent at their beloved ranch in Laneville.
Carol is preceded in death by her father, Buster Valentine. She is survived by her mother Ellen Valentine of Tyler; partner Glenn Davis of Laneville; son Todd Lee of Plano; daughter Niki Bergin (Hayden) of Dallas; grandchildren Cathryn Lee, Chance Lee, Tate Bergin, and Luke Bergin; 3 great-grandchildren; sister Ellen Grett of San Antonio; brother Tony Valentine (Patty) of Warsaw, IN; uncle Sonny Todd (Phyllis) of New Caney; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; the extended Davis family; and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Per her wishes, Carol will be cremated, and the family will spread her ashes in a private ceremony at the ranch in Laneville.
