Carol was a dear friend in our junior high and high school years and we continued to stay in touch for years after. We visited several times when traveling through Longview. Life got busier and we talked more infrequently but always sent our annual Christmas card. So thankful for the time we shared together, along with Fran Thompson and Caryne Prater a few months ago. We had a great time reminiscing and had hopes of getting together again. I will miss my old friend.
Seems not that long ago,we texted and I asked about Tony,My best memory is Carol being in Ag.at Carroll High School,she was one of a handfull,of gals first year in ag,The guys had fun messing with them,but those girls accomplished alot.R.I.P. Carol.
I was so fortunate to have her as my grandmother, she always put in an effort to be in my life even when I moved miles away. She was present for the birth of my children (her great grand children.) she was always a giver and loved her family and friends. She had a great partner in life Glen Davis, which they both seemed to enjoyed the simple life, and the nature of East Texas. I will always remember her smile, her laugh, her smell, and her love. Forever in my heart, my guardian angel.
