Uncle Carnes was such a loving person. He was my grandmothers 1/2 baby brother but they never treated each other as such, it was a blended family but no one ever knew because they all loved each other. He loved everyone and was always there for any of us. It just doesn't seem real that we will not see him again. But later in Heaven we will meet.
Please say hello to ALL of your brothers and sisters from the Alexander family for those of us left behind. I know we all miss them.
I know you all are having a hootin' time now. I just hear you all. I can hear Mama and Aunt Pauline being so happy to see you along with Uncle Harold and Uncle Glen. No telling what you all are doing up there. An Alexander Reunion for sure!
Uncle Carnes has always showed loving interest in me and my family. He had a big heart and also showed his love of Christ and Father God, were of utmost importance in his life. My selfishness wants him here, but I know he is in a much better place now. I love you Aunt Betty, my heart goes out to you and the family.
I worked with Carnes for years and he was always singing a song or whistling a tune. Great family man and great Christian example. I am proud to call him friend. My heartfelt sympathies to Betty and the rest of his family whom he loved so much.
