One memory I will always hold close to my heart is from my wedding day. My Pepaw couldn’t be there because he was in the ICU, but Buddy made sure he didn’t miss it. Instead of sitting with his fiancé and family during the ceremony, Buddy held my Memaw’s phone on FaceTime so Pepaw could watch me get married.
Buddy was a funny guy and always made me laugh in school. We may not of talked much or often, but he was always a joy to be around and I’m sad to see such a beautiful soul taken so quickly. He was always there when you needed him. We love you, Buddy and you’ll forever be with us man
Loved hearing the highs and lows of those duck hunts.. more laughs than ducks for sure. Bryan could always count on Buddy to be his hunting partner, no matter what time .. or rain, or how cold or hot. 🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🙏🙏💔 Buddy was like a son to Bryan always shadowing , helping, doing things, roads trips. Buddy Powell you will be missed greatly!

Buddy & Julia were our neighbors, when they 1st moved in, shortly after, they came over & brought us some of the BEST, delicious gumbo I’ve ever had!!! (That’s no lie either- soooo good!!) both of them were very sweet & generous to do that & I could tell they both were really good people. So glad to have good caring, nice neighbors like them. I didn’t know you that well Buddy, but I could tell that you had a heart of gold and you will truly be missed. Keeping you, Julia and all his family and everyone in my prayers. God Bless you all! 🙏🙏🙏
