Brenda was the most beautiful,sweetest and loving person I know. It was my blessing to call her my friend. I have so many loving memories of her. It was an honor to meet Kim when she brought her Mother to our Spring Trip in 2023. My prayers are with Phillip and the girls during this difficult period. May Brenda rest in peace. I know I will see her again in heaven.

One of my fondest memories of Brenda was reconnecting with her during our Lake View girls’ annual trip in 2023. It was a special Joy meeting Kim. This was the first time we had seen each other since graduating from high school, and those couple of days were filled with wonderful conversations and plenty of laughter. I feel truly honored to have shared that time with Brenda after all those years. My heartfelt condolences to the family.

As one of those 27 foster babies, I can truly say my heart hurts today after my mother shared this news with me last night. Brenda and my mother and myself kept in touch my entire life and it breaks my heart that I didn’t get to see her once more after returning back to Texas. What an amazing soul. Both she and Phillip. Two better people could not be found. It was amazing to have my foster parents in my life and they even attended my high school graduation. My thoughts and love going out to the entire family.
