I remember him pulling up on his motorcycle looking like the king of the road, getting off at the park for our Saturday 1 reunion . He smiled so big and gavee the first hug, I felt like a queen! He always gave great hugs & had a beautiful smile. He was a wonderful friend and class mate!

I have such fond memories of life on Young Street when we were young and our children ran back and forth between our houses. Ryan and Owen loved Blakie and Carey and so did we. He was an adorable young boy and always fun to have around. Donald and I send our prayers and sympathy to all of the family in this most difficult of times.

Blake, words never seem adequate at a time like this -- especially when a child is involved. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Blake: Please accept my deepest sympathy. While I did not have the pleasure of knowing Blake, I know something of the terrible grief associated with losing a child or grandchild.....my granddaughter was killed when she was only 12....and I know how much you are going to miss him. Be assured that you have lots of friends who are ready and willing to lend a shoulder to cry on or to help in any other way when you need us.

My prayers are with all of you in Blake's sudden passing that the Lord will give you comfort.

So sorry about Blake...regards Pud Patterson
I never knew Blake as an adult, but my memory of him from nearly 40 years ago was of a precious, curly-headed young boy. Reading these tributes of Blake give me a moving insight of a young man who grew up to live his all too short life to the fullest ... touching many people beautifully along the way. My sincere condolences to his parents, Eddie and Blake, and to his siblings and extended family.
