It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Billy Dean Tweedle, affectionately known as Bill, who left us on June 20, 2025, at the age of 86. Bill was born on October 13, 1938, in Hopper, Arkansas, to parents Basil and Read Obituary
Bill will be greatly missed and forever in my heart. In the spring of 2019, Tiffany and her family welcomed me into their home. I was new to Texas and a long way from home (California), attending nursing school. I rented a room from the Tweedles, my first ever AirBnB experience actually, and did not know what to expect. What was most unexpected was to be so at home in a place far from home and to come to consider the Tweedles my Texas Family. I fondly referred to Bill as my Texas grandpa. Most of the time I would find him sitting on the porch, watching the birds, the passing cars and the clouds rolling in. With a busy schedule, homework and tests to prepare for Bill was a constant reminder to slow down and enjoy the moment. Intimidating as he looked, Bill was a big softy and cared dearly for those around him. Bill, I know King was waiting for you and I just know it was the warmest of reunions. Goodbye Bill, you are greatly missed. Love, Holly.
Mr. tweedle was such a great man. I always looked forward to seeing him when he came in at the bank. He will truly be missed.
Sorry for your loss. Bill was a very good man. Last time I saw him he was with Avadele and Dorothy getting Hopper Cemetery ready for decoration. Prayers for his family and loved ones.
