Funeral services for Billy Ray Walker, 71, of the Quachitas, Arkansas, formerly of Longview, will be will be 2 PM Monday at the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev.
officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow at Danville Cemetery.
Mr. Walker died suddenly Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Arkansas. He was born may 1, 1933 in Athens, Texas and had been a longtime Longview resident. He was retired from Texas Eastman, where he was a supervisor in Field Services. He was an U.S. Army veteran.
?Billy Ray? as he was known to his friends, loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed working on cars and building model airplanes in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patricia; son, Michael Walker of Irving; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Chaplinski of Longview; grandchildren, Danielle Walker and Brandon Ray Walker; and his sister, Betty Bass and husband, Gary of Longview.
