He was such a sweet, kind gentleman and we respected him very much for being such at Texas Eastman and off the job as well. To: Mike and Susan, and the family of Mr. Walker - or BR as I called him.

I have many fond memories of hanging out at the Walker house and watching BR work on Mike's prized Mustang. I logged countless hours in - on - under - around that car with one of my best high school friends and his beloved father. I know he will be missed.

Although time and miles separate, us I often think about my many friends in Texas.

I wish my best to the family of BR Walker at this very sad time.

Bill Walker, he was one of the most caring and wonderful people I have ever met, he was always the one with the good advice that could fix anything. My most sincere condolences go out to all the friends and family, mine and my families thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest Condolences to Pat , Susan, and Mike and their families. Billy was a good friend and a inspiration to me during my years that i worked for him. In conversations with others that i work with, we still mention him and the good times that we had working together. Billy nicknamed me "BabyBoy" when i first started working for him around 1976 and to this day some of the hands that was in his crew still call me by that name. My shower is stopped up again today, but I know how to fix it. Papa Walker,as we call him on Rick Drive, taught me how. Living next store to Papa Walker, both TC and I have learned so much. My daddy died before I moved into the neighborhood, but I found a new one. One that you could really depend on, one that was always there to listen, someone that worried about you if he didn't see for a while. TC would say I'm going to see Dad, we all knew where he would be. He was in the garage next store at Papa Walker's and he would be there for a while. He just went to ask one simple question but we knew he would be there for an hour are so. Stories he would tell......... well they could go on and on, but we listen attentively. But one of my favorite memories was when the hot water heater went out. He was just going to sit there and instruct TC on how to do it. It was something he needed to learn, he said. About half way through the job, he said "TC move out of the way and let me fix that." He cared about all of us and we missed him moving to Ark., and we will miss him even more now. We send our love to the family.
